Important: Before you start running against Deena, I need you to be warmed up properly before the gun goes off. If you are warmed up, then you can proceed. Once you press the start button you will need to stand still until the 1-minute mark is reached, at that time the race will begin.

This workout starts with a 1 minute instruction, then quickly progresses into a 5k Challenge against the Women’s American Record Holder in the road 5k, Deena Kastor. The 5k main set is an all out effort to try and match Deena’s best 5k time of 14 minutes and 54 seconds.
